Cardinals: Latest Player Movement

Stay up-to-date on the latest movement as the Cardinals will have several players coming and going.

--S Hamza Abdullah is a role player and not a bad special teams guy. Not a priority to re-sign.

--OT D'Anthony Batiste could be back because there isn't much depth at tackle.

--NT Alan Branch is a better end than nose tackle. The Cardinals have no depth at either spot, so will look at re-signing Branch, if he's in shape.

--WR Steve Breaston was a starter last season, and his numbers suffered because he played on a bad knee. He'll draw some interest from other teams. The Cardinals want him back at a reasonable price.

--C Ben Claxton is a backup who has yet to play on offense.

--P Ben Graham is 37, but he can still control the ball as well as anyone. His distance has suffered.

--OG Deuce Lutui is a fierce run blocker who struggles with his weight. Cardinals have no depth, however, and need to re-sign him.

--CB Trumaine McBride is a competent backup corner, and could be the fourth or fifth guy on the depth chart.

--TE Ben Patrick never really developed and the team is likely to let him leave via free agency.

--NT Bryan Robinson is 37 and is considering retirement. He'll return if the team wants him.

--C Lyle Sendlein is an ascending, underrated player. The Cardinals want him back and Sendlein wants to return. He could be one of the better centers in the NFC.

--TE Stephen Spach is a tough guy who plays consistently. He wasn't tendered because the Cardinals didn't want to pay him that much. But they would like him back.

--S Matt Ware is a solid back, situational player and special teamer. The team will want him back.

--NT Gabe Watson played well last year and the club has no one behind starter Dan Williams. Watson could be a good find for someone looking for a bargain.

--DB Michael Adams (not tendered as RFA) is an excellent special teams player that should return.

--FB Nehemiah Broughton (not tendered as RFA) is coming off reconstructive knee surgery. He could return.

--DT Keilen Dykes (not tendered as ERFA) has ability but can't stay healthy.

--DE Kenny Iwebema (not tendered as RFA) is coming off reconstructive knee surgery. He could return.

--FB Reagan Maui's (not tendered as RFA) was a starter last year, but he was average. Might not return.

--WR Early Doucet (tendered $1.2M with third-round pick as compensation) could move into the starting role if Steve Breaston is not re-signed. Doucet, however, has suffered significant injuries in each of his three NFL seasons. He has shown ability but not durability.

--RB Tim Hightower (tendered $1.8M with second-round pick as compensation) is part of a crowded backfield, along with Beanie Wells and Ryan Williams. Hightower is a good all-around back, but had fumble problems in 2010 and wasn't as good at picking up the blitz as in previous years.

--OT Brandon Keith (tendered $1.8M with second-round pick as compensation). The starting right tackle was coming on late in the year when he suffered a knee injury mid-November. That ended his season but he's a bright prospect.

--TE Jeff King: UFA Panthers; 3 yrs, terms unknown.

--QB Derek Anderson (released).
--OG Alan Faneca (UFA; retired).
--LB Gerald Hayes (released).
--RB Jason Wright (retired).
