The Cardinals made three moves to improve depth at key positions this week, signing:
--DE Kenny Iwebema, who played in seven games for the Cardinals last season before going down to a season-ending knee injury.
--RB William Powell, an undrafted rookie out of Kansas State who was released Aug. 2.
--CB Thad Turner, who finished last season on New England's practice squad but was released Aug. 7.
--CB Desia Dunn was released.
--P Derek Epperson was released.
They also need a running back to replace Ryan Williams, who is out for the season after suffering a torn patellar tendon in his right knee.
