LINEUP WATCH: Inside linebacker Stewart Bradley started against the Redskins because of Daryl Washington's calf injury. Washington's availability for Seattle's game could be in question, too, so Bradley might get the call again. While Washington is important to the defense, there shouldn't be a big drop-off in production. Bradley starts at the Mike linebacker, and his 258-pound frame and running ability should help the run defense. Paris Lenon moves to the Will linebacker and while he's 34, he's playing well, and he's smart. The Cardinals have the depth to carry them through Washington's injury, but they can't afford another one at the position.
TRENDING: In the season opener, Adrian Wilson played a more traditional role for a strong safety. He stayed deep in coverage more often than he usually does, as the Cardinals went with traditional nickel and dime packages. That changed against the Redskins. Wilson played closer to scrimmage, where he is most effective. In some nickel packages, the Cardinals went with three safeties, bringing Rashad Johnson in. That plays to Wilson's strengths. At 230 pounds, he's built like a linebacker and is a force against the run. It's also better to match him against running backs and tight ends than receivers in coverage.
Cards' Bradley could get another start at LB
