Cardinals: Latest Player & Injury Notes

Kevin Kolb continues to play at a high level, O'Brien Schofield is gradually taking snaps from veteran Joey Porter and an injury update heading into this weekend's game against Seattle.

PLAYER NOTES

--QB Kevin Kolb has throw three touchdowns passes on first and second down. Arizona's six offensive scores have averaged four plays. Kolb is the first Cardinals quarterback since Tom Tupa in 1989 to throw a TD pass of at least 70 yards in consecutive games.

--OLB O'Brien Schofield is rotating at Joey Porter's spot, giving Porter a series or two off in every half. Schofield has some pass rush ability and might have to be used more often in that role.

--DL Darnell Dockett has missed just one game in his seven plus seasons. No other defensive tackle has appeared in more games than Dockett has in the last eight years.

--DE Ronald Talley was promoted from the practice squad this week. He gives the team seven defensive linemen on the 53-mant roster.

INJURY IMPACT

--ILB Daryl Washington didn't play last week because of a calf injury. He likely will be at least questionable this week. Stewart Bradley took his place in the starting lineup.

--RB/KR LaRod Stephens-Howling (hand) missed last week's game with a contusion. He practiced some on Wednesday and could be available.

--CB Crezdon Butler suffered a dislocated ankle last week in practice and was placed on injured reserve.

--ILB Paris Lenon suffered a sprained ankle last week but returned to the game. Lenon practiced on Wednesday, however, and should be able to play.
