--FS Kerry Rhodes returned to practice last week after missing six games because of a broken foot. He missed a seventh against the Cowboys last week. Rhodes likely will be able to play this week but in what role remains a question. The defense has played well without him.
--QB Kevin Kolb's status for Sunday's game isn't likely to be clear until the end of the week. Kolb sustained a concussion just three plays into last week's game against the 49ers and is going through the NFL protocol for returning to play. The 27-year-old Kolb's lack of experience and the fact that he's in his first season with the Cardinals means it's not likely he would start on Sunday if he missed significant practice time.
--QB John Skelton would start for the fifth time this season if Kevin Kolb, who sustained a concussion last week against San Francisco, can't play. Skelton has gone 3-1 as a starter for the Cardinals in those games and they also won last week with Skelton playing nearly the entire game after coming in for Kolb, who was hurt three plays into the game.
Skelton improved from his previous two outings, becoming the first Cardinals quarterback since 1960 to come off the bench and throw at least three touchdown passes.
