LINEUP WATCH: Patrick Peterson has a left Achilles strain, and his availability for the season finale against Seattle is in question. The Cardinals and Peterson were thankful that the injury wasn't much worse. A ruptured Achilles would have meant a long rehab period that included missing some offseason work. Peterson has made great improvement at cornerback. Early in the season, he was beaten deep and often, but he gradually adjusted. He's been playing the deep ball well and he's always been a tough and willing tackler. Coaches think with a full offseason, his coverage skills will get even better. If Peterson can't play on Sunday, Richard Marshall and A.J. Jefferson will start.
TRENDING: End Calais Campbell has been the team's defensive most valuable player this season, and the club can't afford to let him test the free-agent market. Campbell had another great performance last Sunday against the Bengals. He has eight sacks for the season, a career high, and he's become much better against the run. He's a force on special teams, too. He has blocked three field goals this season and five for his career. This is only his fourth season so he should continue to improve.
