WR Early Doucet re-signs with Cardinals

WR Early Doucet's career has been up and down thus far, but the former LSU star will stay in Arizona for the next two years.

--Wide receiver Early Doucet agreed to a new two-year deal with the Cardinals.

Doucet had the second most catches on the team last year behind Larry Fitzgerald, hauling in a career-high 54 receptions for 689 yards and five touchdowns.

He's physical, a good blocker and has decent speed. He has dropped a few big passes, but Doucet is a valued part of the receiver mix along with Fitzgerald and Andre Roberts.

Doucet was a third-round pick by Arizona in 2008 and has 111 career catches for 1,284 yards and seven touchdowns.

--Offensive guard Rex Hadnot was released by the Cardinals, clearing his $1.5 million base salary against the salary cap as Arizona reworks its offensive line.

The Cardinals signed Adam Snyder away from division rival San Francisco earlier in free agency.
