The Arizona Cardinals secured some depth at the linebacker position by signing LaMarr Woodley to a one-year deal.
After spending the majority of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Woodley played one season with the Oakland Raiders before being released.
Woodley is the latest in a pipeline of former Steelers who’ve made their way to the desert. Woodley will be reunited with Larry Foote – who’s still uncertain whether he’ll be playing or coaching in 2015.
Woodley’s production has slowed in recent years, but the once dominate pass rusher has totaled 57 sacks during his eight-year NFL career.
