The Arizona Cardinals were active on the first day of free agency signing of G Mike Iupati, LB LaMarr Woodley and DT Corey Peters. That activity is far from done as the Cardinals expect to make more moves throughout the remainder of the week.
Rumors of LB Sean Weatherspoon remain and reports state that LB Nate Irving will also be visiting Arizona. LB Brian Orakpo’s name has been linked to the Cardinals as has C A.Q. Shipley’s.
Arizona also brought back some of its own free agents, signing OT Bradley Sowell and DT Alameda Ta’amu. Perhaps the most important free agent for the Cardinals, CB Antonio Cromartie, has placed the team in his final three along with the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys.
Stay up to date on all of the latest free agent signings on Wednesday and sound off in the CardinalFootballTalk.com message boards.
