Center A.Q. Shipley is heading to the desert.
The Arizona Cardinals signed the former Indianapolis Colts interior lineman to help boost a lackluster offensive line. Shipley has the skill set to play both center and guard and will provide the Cardinals with excellent depth in the trenches.
Arizona also signed guard Mike Iupati and have Jonathan Cooper waiting in the wings at the position. Additionally, center Lyle Sendlein remains and has been the heart and soul of the Cardinals’ offensive line for several years now.
Next up for Arizona will be addressing the running back position, but as of now they’ve put the pieces in place for whoever’s running the ball to be successful.
