OTA Update: Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals are hard at work prepping for the 2015 campaign. Find out at the latest information from the team's OTAs inside.

While several key players have been absent from the Arizona Cardinals OTAs thus far, it's still an important time for the team to grow.

Notables QB Carson Palmer, WR Larry Fitzgerald and a host of others have been resting but the younger players on the roster are getting important reps.

Of the familiar names standing out, WR John Brown is certainly one. Brown burst onto the scene a year ago as a rookie and has looked better than ever so far this summer. Brown has become more dedicated to his health and body this offseason and could be poised for a big 2015 season.

On the quarterback front, the younger prospects have been receiving most of the reps. Phillip Simms and Chandler Harnish have seen more time than Logan Thomas, but that's not necessarily a sign of where Thomas sits in the eyes of coach Bruce Arians. Simms and Harnish will more than likely see any practice time dwindle as mini camp and training camp commence in the coming weeks and months.

Arizona would also like to get an initial read on what they have in this year's rookie class but one important piece to this year's group, LB Markus Golden, has been held out of action. Golden, however, is expected to see the field soon.
