Arizona Cardinals rookie WR Damond Powell is in stable condition as he recovers from a gunshot wound suffered last week in his home state of Ohio.
Powell was wounded in the face and neck area with bullets hitting his jaw and neck - splitting a pair of vertebrae.
No arrests have been made as local authorities continue to search for three main suspects in the Toledo area.
No timetable has been set for Powell to return to action but he's hoping to get back on the field this season.
