Linebacker Tyrone Jones, who signed just last week, decided on Tuesday he had enough. The Cardinals wasted no time in waiving the former University of Texas player, which now opens up an additional roster spot.

McGinnis is hoping to fill that spot with a big body to play on the defensive line.

The Cardinals will hold practice today at 3PM on the fields east of the Walkup Skydome. If it rains, the club will practice indoors. There is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.
