Scouting Report: Travis LaBoy

Arizona signed Travis LaBoy to a five-year contract in hopes of giving its pass rush a boost. Will it work? checks in with Tennessee Titans expert Jimmy Morris, who has seen every game of LaBoy's professional career. Here's what he had to say about the Cardinals biggest signing this off-season...

"Travis LaBoy is a solid pass rushing defensive end as long as you don't plan on him playing every single snap. When the Titans platooned LaBoy and Antwan Odom, both guys shined, but when LaBoy was counted on to be in there on every snap he did not hold up very well.

"The reason that the Titans were hesitant to give LaBoy a big contract is because of his concussion history. He has had multiple concussions in the last couple of seasons, and it seems that he might be one big hit away from his career being in jeopardy.

"The best thing about LaBoy is that he is a stand-up guy. He did a lot of good things for the Nashville community, and you will not have to worry about seeing his name on the crawl for being arrested. He is a solid player who will get you 6-8 sacks per season as long as he is used correctly."
