Cards Super in First Half

The Arizona Cardinals lead the Philadelphia Eagles 24-6 at halftime and are just one half away from reaching Super Bowl XLIII.

QB Kurt Warner and WR Larry Fitzgerald have put on a show during first half action, already hooking up on three touchdown scores. In addition, Arizona has effectively utilized the running game racking up 64 yards on the ground. The Cardinals have outgained Philadelphia 260-170 in total yardage and hold a 15-8 advantage in first downs.

The Arizona defense continues to force turnovers as SS Aaron Francisco picked off QB Donovan McNabb during first quarter action. However, Francisco fumbled the ball during the return, giving the ball back to the Eagles.

Look for the Cardinals to continue to execute their game plan, rather than attempting to run out the clock. Philadelphia has numerous weapons of offensive and will need to regroup at the half in order to mount a comeback.
