The Plain Dealer's Tony Grossi is reporting this morning that Browns running back Jason Wright, who has drawn no interest from the Cleveland Browns to speak of, is off in Arizona visiting the Cardinals. Although Pro Football Weekly recently suggested that "a source close to the team" believed that the Browns would re-sign Wright, no indications of that have been forthcoming.

Wright is a decidedly mediocre running back who has done alright when given opportunities to replace Jamal Lewis in Cleveland. Neither exceptionally fast or pounding as a runner, Wright makes the most of the ability he has... very bright player (Northwestern grad), fantastic character guy. PFW reported some interest on the Browns part to re-sign him, but we have not picked that up at all.
