The Arizona Cardinals reached a one-year deal with free agent DT Rodney Leisle on Wednesday, Scout.com has confirmed.
The former fifth-round pick of the New Orleans Saints from the 2004 draft spent the first three years of his career with New Orleans then was out of the league in 2007. Leisle had a strong pre-season with the New York Giants in 2008, but suffered a season-ending rib injury last August. He'll compete for playing time against DTs Alan Branch and Gabe Watson.
