Cards' Bring Down "The House" in Fifth Round

With the 167th overall selection, the Arizona Cardinals selected LSU OG Herman Johnson who was a regular on the All-SEC first team. Nicknamed, "The House," Johnson brings amazing size to the offensive line. Johnson will join his former teammate, WR Early Doucet who was last year's third round pick.

The Cardinals switched gears to offense with their fifth-round selection. They picked up the physical and dominant offensive guard Herman Johnson, out of LSU.

Johnson (6'7", 382) primarily played left guard. He lacks a whole lot of starting experience, but his mammoth size will make him a prominent fixture on the Cardinals offensive line.

Johnson will challenge Reggie Wells and Elton Brown. Depending on his versatility, he could give RG Deuce Lutui a run for his money. Lutui has yet to really come into his own. This training camp will be a big year for the guard position.

If Johnson can drop some weight, he could possibly be switched to tackle.

One thing for certain, it's like Christmas morning for Russ Grimm.
