Dominique Byrd (6-3, 255) joins the Cardinals after spending his first two seasons in the NFL with St. Louis after originally entering the league as the Rams third-round selection (93rd overall) in the 2006 out of USC.
Byrd played 14 games between 2006-07 and collected six receptions for 83 yards (13.8 yard avg.) and one touchdown. He was released by the Rams on April 29, 2008 and was out of football last season.
The Minneapolis, MN native participated in the Cardinals mini-camp this past weekend on a tryout.
