Will Davis (6-2, 261) played in all 12 games as a senior in 2008 and recorded 36 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble and blocked a kick as a defensive end. He began his college career as a wide receiver and tight end before converting to the defensive side of the ball in 2006.
The Greenbelt, MD finished his collegiate career by appearing in 37 games with 95 tackles, 15 sacks and four forced fumbles. He had his best season in 2007 as a junior when he had 41 tackles and 9.5 sacks and was named second-team All-Big Ten.
Davis becomes the fourth member of Arizona's 2009 draft class to agree to contract terms after the team previously signed LSU OL Herman Johnson (fifth-round, 167th overall), Pittsburgh RB LaRod Stephens-Howling (seventh-round, 240nd overall), and Cincinnati G Trevor Canfield (seventh-round, 254th overall).
In addition, the Cardinals have released P Waylon Prather. Prather signed with the team as a free agent on February 4.
