Report Card: Packers @ Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals made a strategic move to rest the majority of their starters against the Green Bay Packers. The 33-7 score represented the decision and so did this week's grades....

PASSING OFFENSE: F -- The Cardinals had only 139 yards and three interceptions. But starting quarterback Kurt Warner played only a quarter.

RUSHING OFFENSE: D -- The Cardinals gained just 48 yards but had only 14 attempts. They didn't put much effort into trying to run.

PASS DEFENSE: D -- The Packers completed 22 of 29 passes, and their quarterbacks weren't sacked. The Cardinals didn't blitz much and many defensive starters played sparingly.

RUSH DEFENSE: C -- The Packers gained 109 yards but averaged only 3.2 yards a carry. The Cardinals didn't do anything elaborate to stop the run.

SPECIAL TEAMS: D -- Punt returner Steve Breaston made a poor decision in fielding a punt at the 1, and the Packers had a 54-yard kick return.

COACHING: D -- Whisenhunt decided to rest many of his starters and the results were predictable. Maybe we'll find out this week if he made a wise decision.
