Cedrick Henry played in ten games as a senior totaling 29 tackles with 2 interceptions and one pass defense. Academically ineligible in 2001 season after starting 11 games in 2000, registering 45 tackles, 5 interceptions and leading the conference with 24 pass break-ups.
Henry missed the entire 2001 season at Michigan State due to academic problems but came back to play solid in 2002 at cornerback. Missing the 2001 season really hurt his chances at stardom as he was once considered a potential second round draft choice.
At 5-10, 182 pounds, he could be a steal. Questionable work ethic dropped him in the draft.
Ranks among Michigan State's all-time leaders in pass break-ups (second with 42) and only one came as a senior.
