Name: Josh Lyman
Ht: 5-11 Wt: 190 40: 4.65 Pos: WR
Bio: Started the past two seasons and led the team in receiving as a senior with 44 receptions, 590 yards and 3 scores. Junior totals were 36/582/5.
Pos: Natural receiver who consistently makes the difficult catch in traffic. Quick releasing off the line of scrimmage, displays a solid burst of speed and catches the pass in stride. Finds the open spot in the defense, comes back to the ball and uses his body to shield away opponents. Extends and lays out in the middle of the field for the difficult reception; excellent eye/hand coordination. Has good wherewithal and works nicely with his quarterback.
Neg: Lacks the top end speed and does not get separation down the field. Not quick in or out of his breaks and lacks the top size/speed numbers.
Analysis: Effectively played on special teams early in his career at Utah and could make it in that capacity as well as being a team's fifth receiver at the next level.
