Name: Julian Lovett
School: Michigan St
Year: 5Sr
Ht: 6-2.5 Wt: 208 40: 4.55 Pos: WR

Bio: Part-time starter who caught 33 passes for 383 yards with 4 scores as a senior, after 10/82/0 in 2001. Used sparingly to return kicks in the past.

Pos: Nice sized receiver best in the underneath coverage. Settles into the open spot in the defense, extends his hands and catches the pass away from his frame. Uses his body to shield away opponents, reaches back and makes the errant throw running laterally. Exposes himself to make the tough grab in a crowd.

Neg: Lacks the strong hands and drops some catchable throws. Also does not have the top end speed for a receiver who makes many plays down the field.

Analysis: Size is intriguing and gives him an advantage for a team that needs a possession receiver but must show well next July in camp.
