--DE Marcellus Wiley has resumed running full speed after undergoing surgery to repair a torn abdominal during the offseason.
--Changing numbers: WR Tim Dwight has gone from No. 85 to 87; TE Stephen Alexander has switched from 81 to 80.
--The city and the team have agreed to extend their negotiating window on a new stadium an additional 90 days. The talks are being held in private to replace Qualcomm Stadium.
--For making the Pro Bowl, RB LaDainian Tomlinson earned a $500,000 bonus.
--The early leader to be on the Chargers media guide cover is RB LaDainian Tomlinson. Good choice, what with him setting the franchise rushing mark last year on his way to his first Pro Bowl. Or is it the kiss of death? Of the four players featured on last season's edition, three are no longer with the team: LB Junior Seau, SS Rodney Harrison and WR Curtis Conway. Tomlinson was the lone survivor of the team's offseason purge.
QUOTE TO NOTE
