"I mean you don't lose the football game off of one play," Robinson said about the Big Ten Championship game. "We missed sacks, we missed deep balls. You need to have a short term memory as a defensive back so we can't sit and dwell on that or we'll have another bad game.
"Yeah, that's (Alabama game) always been in the back of my mind. "It's one of those dark places in your mind you don't ever want to be at again because that was rough, and that wasn't a good feeling. I never want to feel like that in football."
Robinson knows a win over an SEC opponent would do a lot for the Spartans program.
"It'll be good for us to go up against an SEC school and win," said Robinson. "It's just going to be good, it makes the program look better, and we go out on a win because everybody thinks the SEC is better than the Big Ten. To go out here and get this win would be great for our program."
With the Outback Bowl being his final game in the Green & White, what does Robinson want people to remember about his time as a Spartan?
"That I was a team player and that I loved my teammates," said Robinson.
