Chargers Tickets on Sale Saturday/Powder Blues

Chargers fans, mark your calendars. Tickets to all 10 Chargers home games go on sale for the first time Saturday, July 26 at 10 a.m. <br><br> Powder blues will debut September 21st at Qualcomm Staium as the San Diego Chargers face the Baltimore Ravens

Tickets will be on sale at the Chargers' ticket office at Qualcomm Stadium and at The Home Depot Center in Carson. Tickets can also be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, on-line at and, or by calling (619) 220-TIXS.

Chargers fans will be able to buy their favorite team merchandise at the Chargers Store, which will open at 7a.m. at Gate E at the stadium. There will also be a Chargers retail outlet at The Home Depot Center.

"We have one of the most exciting and competitive home schedules in years," said Chargers Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Ken Derrett. "Tickets for the Dolphins, Packers and Raiders games are expected to draw huge interest. With a schedule that features some of the NFL's top teams, including the Broncos, Vikings, Dolphins and Packers, we know Saturday is going to be a huge day for us."

Fans buying tickets at The Home Depot Center will get an added bonus. Hot dogs and sodas will be available for just $1 each. It will be the first opportunity to see the full squad practice and get autographs after the morning session.

The Chargers will face a traditional AFC West rival, the Denver Broncos, in this year's home opener on Sept. 14. The home schedule also includes a visit from the Minnesota Vikings which will mark the Chargers annual Hall of Fame and Alumni game. It will be the Vikings first game in San Diego since 1981. The Bolts will close out the 2003 campaign on Dec. 28 against the defending AFC champion Oakland Raiders.

Powder Blues are BACK!!

The Chargers will be wearing their Powder Blue uniforms when they take on the Baltimore Ravens at Qualcomm Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 21. Each NFL team is allowed to wear a designated "third" uniform once during the regular season.

The uniforms feature the Powder Blue jerseys with white helmets and pants adorned with yellow lightning bolts.

"The Powder Blues are back," said Ken Derrett, the Chargers' Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. "The League allows every team to wear a third uniform once during the season. Last year, the Powder Blues created excitement as well as additional retail opportunities which we hope to capitalize on further this year."
