Chargers make the case for relocation

The team says it has exhausted all options in its home market.

The Chargers applied for relocation earlier this week, stating that "all alternatives in the Chargers' home market have been exhausted by the franchise."

Owners will convene in Houston on Jan. 12-13 to discuss whether the Chargers, Oakland Raiders and/or St. Louis Rams will be allowed to relocate to Los Angeles for the 2016 season. All three teams have applied. A vote is expected; however, there is a chance the decision could be delayed.
