Chargers re-sign OL Chris Hairston

The Chargers add depth to their O-Line.

The Chargers signed offensive lineman Chris Hairston to a two-year contract Wednesday, adding depth to a position group that was hampered by injuries last season.

Hairston, a swing tackle who started eleven games in 2015 and played every position on the offensive line except center, brings versatility and experience to the Chargers. He also brings toughness and resiliency, as he fought his way through multiple injuries last season to suit up on game day for a team that was losing linemen by the minute.

The 6-6, 330-pound Hairston was signed to the Chargers last season on a one-year contract. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2011 in the fourth round.

Last week, the Chargers re-signed right tackle Joe Barksdale to a four-year extension.
