After losing the ticket sales of one game, Alex Spanos has stood up for the City of San Diego with an impressive donation.
"It's tragic," said Alex Spanos. "I can't imagine the pain and grief being felt by those families who have lost everything. We can't replace a lifetime of memories, but hopefully, in some small way, we can help people get back on their feet."
Spanos' contribution comes on the heels of the team's effort on Monday night in which it collected more than $225,000 at its game against the Miami Dolphins in Tempe, Arizona.
Tax deductible contributions can be made the San Diego Fire Relief Fund and sent to PO Box 609609, San Diego, CA 92160.
