Running back LaDainian Tomlinson leads NFL with eight touchdowns and ranks second (48) in NFL scoring (Neil Rackers, Ariz., 50). Tomlinson (68) needs two touchdowns Monday to reach 70 career TDs in his 68th career game, tying the NFL record of fewest games played to reach 70 TDs (Hall of Fame back Steve Van Buren, Phil.).

Wide receiver Keenan McCardell (11) posted 2nd-most catches in a game during his storied career vs. Steelers on 10/1/00.

In the past two games, Linebacker Donnie Edwards has team-high 24 tackles, an interception, 1.0 sack and a forced fumble.

Last week on special teams, linebacker Shaun Phillips posted team-high three tackles and a forced fumble.

Cowher is 6-1 (.857) vs. Chargers. Since 1995, team is the NFL's best in October: 29-10 (.744).

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has not thrown an interception in '05 (60 attempts) and is the NFL's highest rated passer (131.8).

Among NFL rushers with 60+ carries, Willie Parker ranks 4th with a 5.1 yard per carry average. Parker has three 100-yard games in his past four starts.

Wide receiver Hines Ward has two touchdowns in each of the past two games. In two career games vs. San Diego, Ward has ten catches for 130 yards and one touchdown. Wideout Cedrick Wilson is averaging 19.7 yards per catch on six receptions with long of 40.

The club stands third in the NFL with a +7 turnover differential.
