Chargers sign Pinnock to five-year deal

The San Diego Chargers have agreed with fullback Andrew Pinnock on a new five-year contract. Pinnock was set to become a restricted free agent in March.

Andrew Pinnock, 5-foot-10, 250-pounds, is entering his fourth season in the NFL. He saw action in 12 games this past season, mostly on special teams, netting just one carry for four yards.

He joined the Chargers as a seventh-round pick from South Carolina in 2003, 229th overall. He has played in 24 career games, gaining 52 yards, 26 receiving and 26 rushing in the final game of the year in 2004 against Kansas City.
