Chargers receive blackout extension

Due to the Chargers' shortened week coming off its appearance on Monday Night Football, the National Football League granted the team a 24-hour extension in an effort to reach a sellout and lift the local television blackout of this Sunday's Chargers-Titans game.

The team now has until 1:15 pm on Friday to sell the remaining 1,750 general tickets. Nearly 200 Club seats are also available.

"There's a lot of excitement building around this game," said Chargers Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer Jim Steeg. "Coming off our big win last Monday, football fans are not going to want to miss this game."

To get the last remaining tickets to the game, fans can go to the Chargers' ticket office at Qualcomm Stadium Gate C or contact TicketMaster at 619-220-TIXS (8497).
