CHARGERS:

The club owns the NFL's 2nd-best point differential (+96; 151 to 55) and have won 9 of past 12 versus the AFC West.

With four TDs last week versus San Fran, RB LaDainian Tomlinson increased his career total to 87, surpassing Hall of Famer Lance Alworth (83) for most in club history. Tomlinson (42) is tied for the NFL lead in points by non-kickers and joins Larry Johnson (105; 23) and FRANK GORE (112; 24) as the only players to lead their team in carries and catches.

In the past three games on road, WR Eric Parker has reached a first down on eight of his 12 catches. Parker leads the team with 274 receiving yards. TE Antonio Gates has seven TDs against the Chiefs in four career games – his most versus any one opponent.

Linebacker Shawn Phillips (6.0) and Shawne Merriman (5.5) are the only NFL tandem with 5.5+ sacks each. The defense is allowing the fewest yards (218.4) per game in the NFL.

Punter Mike Scifres leads the NFL with a 43.5 net average.

CHIEFS:

Are 6-0 at home in October versus San Diego. Assistan coach Charlie Joiner was a 3-time All-Star for San Diego. He holds the team record for most career receptions (586, '76-86) and ranks second in club annals with 9,203 rec. yards.

Quarterback Damon Huard has one INT in 136 attempts, tying for fewest in the NFL and ranks fourth with a 65.4 comp. percentage (89-of-136). He is 4-0 in his career as home starter with six TDs versus one INT in those games.

Johnson leads the AFC with 631 yards from scrimmage (357 rush; 274 receiving). In his past four games against the AFC West, Johnson has 504 rushing yards (126.0 avg.) and five TDs.

Wide receiver Eddie Kennison has 14 100-yard receiving games and needs one to tie TE Tony Gonzalez (15) for third most in team annals. Gonzalez has 7,997 receiving yards and needs three to join Shannon Sharpe as the only tight ends in NFL history with 8,000.

Offensive guard Will Shields (213) has played the most games in club history.

Rookie DE Tamba Hali has four forced fumbles. CB y Law has two INTs and 1.0 sack in the past three games and tops the NFL with 12 INTs since '05. The Club is tied for sixth in the league, allowing 21-of-67 (31.3) third down conversion tries.
