<b>The AFC Best</b><br></br> No other division has a team without a losing record. The Raiders, Broncos, Chargers and Chiefs all rank in the top nine in rush offense while Oakland, Denver and San Diego rank 1-2-3 in rush defense. It's also the only division in which all four teams have a positive turnover ratio.

Clinton Portis is leading all rookie running backs with 204 yards on 35 carries.

Fullback Mike Anderson is nursing a sprained ankle took some reps at practice Friday, but he remains questionable for Sunday's game.

Rookie Ashley Lelie has missed catching a long passes by inches on four different occasions this season. Lelie has proved that he can get open deep. Sooner or later, Griese will manage to hit him in stride and Lelie will reward him with catching the ball.

Brian Griese has been sacked 15 times already this season and threw three interceptions last week in Baltimore.

The Broncos have only two interceptions in the first four games, compared to seven for the Chargers.

Deltha O'Neal was not suspended for bumping into an official during Monday night's loss at Baltimore. He was fined $15,000 as punishment. O'Neal is the 3rd member of the Bronco secondary to be fined by the NFL this year. Kenoy Kennedy and Izell Reese were also fined earlier this year.

The Denver Broncos have done well in their next game following a Monday night loss. They are 21-4 the following game after a Monday loss, including 5-1 under Coach Mike Shanahan.

The Chargers have won only four times in Denver in the past 20 years and San Diego coach Marty Schottenheimer has gone 3-10 here with three teams, but his Washington Redskins came in and upset the Broncos 17-10 last year.
