Now the last 12 times the Chargers have played the Chiefs in San Diego the last team to score has won the game. <br></br> 9 of the 12 times the Chargers had the ball, they passed midfield. <br></br> Donnie Edwards intercepted the ball to end the game a fitting play for the ex-Chief.

Charger Notes

Chargers Week 6 Inactives: S Robert Carswell, CB Kevin House, RB Terrell Fletcher, DE Marcellus Wiley, DT Dequincy Scott, and TE Stephen Alexander as inactive for week 6. Seth Burford will be the team's No. 3 QB.

Junior Seau left the game early in the 3rd quarter with an ankle injury. Josh Norman was carted off the field in the 3rd quarter with a calf injury.

DE Adrian Dingle started in place of DE Marcellus Wiley and had 6 tackles and a number of pressures on Trent Green.

The Chargers ran 3 reverses in the game. Two went for touchdowns of 19 and 11 yards to Tim Dwight and Curtis Conway respectively. The 3rd went for 8 yards.

The Chargers were able to limit the number one rushing back in the league to 63 yards on 23 carries for an average of 2.7. Holmes did have 7 catches for 96 yards.

Chiefs Week 6 Inactives: WR Curtis Jackson, RB Derrick Blaylock, S Greg Wesley, CB Taje Allen, OG Victor Allotey, OT Willie Jones, TE Jason Dunn, and DE Rich Owens as inactive for week 6. Jonathan Quinn will be the team's No. 3 QB.

S Shaunard Harts started in place of S Greg Wesley and had a huge day forcing 2 fumbles and leading the Chiefs in tackles with 12.

LB Scott Fujita started in place of LB Lew Bush and had 8 tackles on the day and recovered a fumble.

Trent Green, a third-string quarterback with San Diego during his rookie season of 1993, was 17-of-29 for 236 yards, with three touchdowns and two interceptions.

KC wide receivers only had 2 catches on the day.
