Left tackle Damion McIntosh will miss the game on Sunday with an ankle injury suffered in the game this past Sunday vs. the Jets. After the game McIntosh was seen on crutches and the next day the team remained optimistic about the possibility that he may play this week. He did not progress as expected and will be out for this week. McIntosh is listed as doubtful for the game. Ed Ellis and Sammy Williams split practice time during practice and will probably do the same come Sunday. Ellis is likely to get the start.
Defensive tackle Jason Fisk also missed practiced with an ankle injury and is listed as questionable for this Sunday. Coach Schottenheimer said that Fisk has a chance to play this weekend. Leonardo Carson would replace Fisk if he cannot play.
Safety Keith Lyle missed practice Wednesday with an ankle injury and is listed as questionable for the game against St on Sunday. Coach Schottenheimer said he may be able to play. With Rodney Harrison back the Chargers may opt to rest him for the week.
Schottenheimer said there's a chance Ronney Jenkins could return kicks Sunday after being inactive last week. No word on if Tamarick Vanover will be active for the week.
Josh Norman, out the past few weeks with a calf injury hopes to practice today. He remains questionable for this weeks game, but with a solid showing today and tomorrow could be upgraded and could play.
