Conway Downgraded

Wide receiver Curtis Conway was downgraded from probable to questionable on Friday.

Conway leads the team wih 54 receptions for 794 yards with five touchdowns and has had a spectacular season. Last week he was limited and recorded zero catches on the day as he nursed an ailing shoulder.

Conway didn't practice Friday and has been bothered by muscle spasms in his injured shoulder. The muscle spasms were caused by the way he has to hold his arm, coach Marty Schottenheimer said.

The problem is he cannot absorb the punishment that goes with playing a NFL game due to his shoulder injury.

Losing Conway would be a major blow to the Chargers and the need for a passing attack against Denver. His appearance on Sunday will be a gametime announcement.
