WR Chris Chambers
Sunday will feature the savvy of the eight-year veteran Chambers against the raw talent of rookie Flowers. Flowers, who the Chargers passed up in the bottom of round one in favor of Antoine Cason, already has two interceptions and is a candidate for Defensive Rookie of the Year. Chambers will look to exploit the rookie's aggressive play and find the end zone for the sixth time in seven games.
Defensive Matchup to Watch: DE Luis Castillo vs. RT Damion McIntosh
DE Luis Castillo
Castillo will be matched up with former Charger OT McIntosh. McIntosh is a steady veteran with more than 100 starts under his belt. He has the size (6-foot-4, 320 pounds) and strength to generate movement in the running game, and the agility to hold up in pass protection. Nonetheless, this is a matchup Castillo has to win to take some pressure off San Diego's much-maligned secondary.

The Chargers and Chiefs rank in the bottom-eight in overall defense, so those units need all the help they can get. Scifres and Colquitt have a chance to lend a hand -- or a foot, as it were -- by forcing the opposing offense to drive the length of the field.
