The frequent presence of a Chargers scout at Oregon State games seems odd on the surface. It's been more than 30 years since the Chargers drafted a Beaver -- 1976 fourth-round pick MLB Bob Horn.
Ironically, the 1976 draft was also the last time the Chargers plucked a Golden Bear, using a 16th-round pick on OG Jack Harrison.
Needless to say, it would mark a significant break with history if the Chargers drafted a player from either of these programs.
According to Scout.com draft analyst Chris Steuber, the following players are the top draft-eligible prospects in Saturday's game.
