Kris Wilson: I feel great about my teammates. This is a good locker room. There is a lot of camaraderie. I enjoy playing with these guys.
SF: Talk about your role with this team. What do you see going forward?
TE Kris Wilson
Author's Note: A teammate standing next to Wilson interjected by playfully asking: "Are you saying you think you should be playing more?" Wilson's response was, "That's not my decision to make."
SF: You are under contract through 2009. Do you expect to have an increased role next season?
KW: I think this offseason will be key in establishing a role on the team. I was a late addition -- I didn't come until Week 1, so a lot of guys have been working together in the spring and some of them for years. So I am still working to get a bigger role on the offense or special teams or what have you.
SF: So what changes do you anticipate in the offseason?
KW: You know, the season starts in April or May for the offseason program, so I don't know what to expect. I am just going into it with an extremely high work ethic and high expectations for myself.
SF: Have you enjoyed your time thus far in San Diego? Is this a team you would like stay with for a while?
KW: Yeah, I'd love to be in San Diego.
