LT Gets Deserving Pro Bowl Nod

The Chargers have two official members going to the Pro Bowl on Feb. 2nd in Hawaii. One of which is more than deserving, LaDainian Tomlinson.

Running back LaDainian Tomlinson was voted in and is the deserving member to get the vote. He has played his heart out all season and gained yards while teams have continued to key on the run.

So far this season, Tomlinson has rushed for more yards (1,485) and has more combined yards (1,930) yards than any player in team history with two games left to play. He is a shoe in to surpass the 2,000 yard mark on the season conjuring images of another Pro Bowler, Marshall Faulk.

Not only is Tomlinson the leading rusher for the Chargers but is also the reception (67) leader. He is a force that not many teams can stop.

His 15 touchdowns are second in team annals behind Chuck Muncie's 19 touchdowns (all rushing) in 1981.

It is Tomlinson's first Pro Bowl nomination. "This is a good day for me. I'm really happy," said Tomlinson. "It was one of the goals that I set out to accomplish. I'm excited about it. I don't think that it has really hit me yet."

Look for Tomlinson on the isles of Hawaii for many years to come.
