A: My understanding is Denver called 14-16 teams. They tried to deal him and the Minnesota Vikings were one of the teams they talked to. The Vikings had a mild interest, but I'm told he's not going to Minnesota.
The Vikings know Cutler is very talented, but they have issues, as other teams do, with his personality and other things. The Broncos will trade him before the draft, if they do at all. Talking to sources around the league, some teams don't really like some things with Cutler. I was surprised to hear that, but that's what is out there.
Q: What's up with Anquan Boldin? Are the Arizona Cardinals looking to trade him?
WR Anquan Boldin
Q: What would it take to pry Boldin loose?
A: Probably first- and third-round draft picks. The nice thing is he can play in the slot and out wide.
Q: St. Louis Rams OL Adam Goldberg is available. Is he just a solid swing guy who provides depth?
A: I reported that he has interest from the Cleveland Browns and possibly the Chicago Bears. He's now in Hawaii for NFLPA voting on new director. He was the representative for St. Louis.
Q: Are there any big-name players about to receive roster bonuses, that will be released in the next week or so?
A: Around the league, yes. The Browns have a lot, including WR Donte Stallworth ($4.75M) and QB Derek Anderson ($5M).
Q: Adam, give us a "bombshell" move to be on the look-out for.
A: I'm expecting at least one of the following players to be dealt by draft time: Boldin, Cutler, Cincinnati Bengals WR Chad Johnson or Buffalo Bills LT Jason Peters.
Q: Is there any chance of Donovan McNabb leaving Philly?
A: I think there's a 10 percent chance McNabb gets dealt. He and the Eagles are still far apart on his deal.
Q: What are your thoughts on DE Mike Wright of the New England Patriots?
A: He is a versatile defensive lineman who is a nice fit in the 3-4.
Q: Does former Carolina Panthers CB Ken Lucas have anything left in the tank?
A: He should be a nickel back at this point.
