A look at the workout schedule for this February's combine in Indianapolis. Expanded two extra days, it is clear to see the reasoning for the increased length was to expand the interviewing process as well as the time allotted for physical exams as in the past it was always a close call getting certain prospects examined, x-rayed, MRI-ed, then finding enough time to workout.
One big difference that also stands out is the tight ends will workout on Sunday with the wide receivers and quarterbacks. In the past tight ends were held over until Monday which usually meant one quarterback would stay to be the practice passer and throw all day to the tight ends, linebackers then defensive backs (in fact it was the day Josh McCown really jumped up in the rankings) making the final day of the combine a very long one.
As has been the situation the previous two years the TFY Draft Preview will be on hand at the RCA Dome reporting on the events from the combine.
