Chiefs Draft Day: Fans Mixed on Pick #18

Today marks the beginning of the 2015 NFL Draft and it’s been a long wait from Kansas City Chiefs fans that are eagerly anticipated KC’s first selection Thursday night. I’ve already shared with you my pick, UCLA LB Eric Kendricks, but that’s not the case with some of the fans.

The odds any of us will correctly predict the Kansas City Chiefs first round selection Thursday evening might be slim. A year ago nobody had Auburn Linebacker, Dee Ford on the radar and poof - out of nowhere - he became KC’s top pick.

However, unlike a year ago, the Chiefs must snag an impact starter with the 18th overall pick. Even if they move down, there are a plethora of candidates that could arrive in Kansas City this evening.

Thanks to twitter here are a few fan sentiments from the voices that matter on that first round impact player they would like in a Chiefs uniform come opening day.

So will any of these Chiefs fans be correct? Time will tell. Stay tuned to Warpaint Illustrated for some fun draft coverage!

@ChiefsInsider Marcus Peters, born to play in this defense. Emmitt can control to the emotion and make him thrive on it.
