Keeping with their defensive theme on day two of the NFL Draft the Chiefs added Notre Dame Cornerback KeiVarae Russell in the third round.

With the defection of Cornerback Sean Smith to the Oakland Raiders, the Kansas City Chiefs used their new third round pick, acquired from the Tampa Bay Bucs, to draft Notre Dame Cornerback, KeiVarae Russell. Though he comes to the NFL with some academic baggage and a recent leg injury, that did not deter the Chiefs from drafting a solid football player.
