Chiefs Broncos Leftovers

Trent Green completed a career high 34 completions and Dante Hall caught a career best 11 passes in the loss to the Broncos.

*WR/KR Dante Hall finished the Denver game with a career-high 296 combined net yards. He caught a career-high 11 passes for 124 yards and had a 61-yard kickoff return that nearly went the distance for his record-breaking fifth return TD this year.

*QB Trent Green completed a career-high 34 passes, the third-highest single-game total in team history and the most since Elvis Grbac had 39 at Oakland (11/5/00). Green set a team single-game record by attempting 47 passes without an interception. His 397-yard passing total was the third-highest total of his career.

*S Lyle West, a key special teams contributor, may miss at least three weeks with an inner foot injury he received in the Denver loss. With the Chiefs down to three healthy safeties, and practice squad member Clint Finley also ailing, the Chiefs are searching the streets looking for help.

"It better be. I know mine has been. You get your ass handed to you like we did in Denver, it shakes everybody up. I didn't say we lost it, but it's shaken. You don't let it eat you up, though. You just come back the next time and do it better." -- Dick Vermeil, when asked if his team's confidence had been shaken in the 45-27 drubbing they took in Denver. Top Stories
