Kansas City Chiefs 2005 Opponents Set

Thanks to the Chiefs third place finish in the AFC West the road back to the playoffs might be easier for Kansas City next season.

After Sunday's 24-17 loss to the San Diego Chargers, the NFL will be announcing the 2005 schedule sometime tomorrow. But after viewing the formula that the NFL has used to insure parady since the league expanded to four team division, we have it all figured out.

Kansas City will have some of their toughest competition visiting Arrowhead next season. We also take a peak ahead to the player the Chiefs might select in the first round of the 2005 draft.

2005 Chiefs Home/Away Schedule

The Chiefs have also solidfied their 2005 Draft slot as they'll pick 13th in the first round. The last time the Chiefs picked 13th they selected tight end Tony Gonzalez. The Chiefs will get a supplemental draft pick for losing John Tait last year. We think it will be a sixth round pick but that has yet to be determined.
