The Giants will draft Borland with the 43rd overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. While New York has added some linebackers in free agency (Jameel McClain, re-signing Jon Beason), the team could still use an addition of youthful talent and leadership at the position. Enter Borland, who was a three-year starter and Wisconsin and winner of the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year award in 2013. He can play both the run and the pass, and while he doesn't have elite athleticism, he promises to be a durable playmaker for years to come for whichever team drafts him.
