Video: Chuck Pagano's team healthier

A weekend off after Thursday win at Houston has a few more Colts back at practice to prepare for visit from Cincinnati.

Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano had a healthier team show up for practice Wednesday at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Complex.

Offensive guards Jack Mewhort and Hugh Thornton, who missed the last game with injuries, returned, as did defensive tackle Arthur Jones, a limited participant for the first time after missing four games with a high ankle sprain.

Pagano, as usual, started his press conference with an injury report update, then addressed the Colts (4-2) getting ready for a Sunday game against the Cincinnati Bengals (3-1-1) at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The video includes the coach discussing the team’s offensive progress — the Colts are No. 1 in points scored and total yards — as well as offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton and coaches deserving more credit than they have received.

He also discusses how the Colts have generated 17 sacks with coordinator Greg Manusky’s 3-4 blitzing scheme, considered by many a surprise because NFL reigning sack champion Robert Mathis won’t play a down this year due to a torn Achilles.
